Clinical Hypnosis

Many hypnotists have completed brief trainings in hypnosis but have no formal education in psychology. As such, they may lack the necessary knowledge to provide you with a quality experience tailored to your needs.

In addition to my Master of Science degree in Psychology, I am near completion of a second Masters degree, in Counselling Psychology. This provides a solid foundation with the breadth and depth of knowledge required to tailor hypnosis sessions to your needs - and to know when hypnosis may not be the best choice for you. These are valuable differences to keep in mind when choosing a hypnotist to work with.

Your hypnosis sessions will include an interview grounded in the biopsychosocial model of well-being so that we have a good understanding of the variables relevant to your area of concern.

The consultation is evidence-based, drawing on the best available science on the effectiveness of hypnosis with respect to your area of concern.

Package rates are available. The per session rate is $150 + HST, and you may purchase 5 sessions for $550, a savings of $200.  Sliding scale rates are not currently available for the hypnosis services.
